Mission Statement

The mission statement for our school is “Creating People Who are Ready”.
Now you may think you know what this means and you are probably thinking that it means creating all of us students to be prepared for what happens after school and after we are done with high school. But really it is that the school is preparing you for what ever happens in your life no matter what. Even if you are done with high school and even if you aren’t done with high school it means that you are going to be ready for anything that comes your way

DRSL (Desired Results for Student Learning)

 The three c’s are the IHS DRSL’s you have probably heard them before. They are communicate which means listen, read, write, and speak effectively. Then next is compute which just means that you take the time to think, reason, analyze and figure things out powerfully. Last but not least there is connect which is to acknowledge, support, and lead respectfully.
If we all just take a second and take these three words and their meanings in and use them in our life every day we will truly lead a happier and more respectable life
